For roughly 60 years, this thing called "Bachata" is around in this world.

40 years ago, Bachata music reached the Dominican mainstream.

Only 30 years before today, with the electric guitar and the güira, "modern" Bachata was born.

Since the new millennium, people started to experiment with Bachata music leading to new dance styles.

10 years back, a Swabian guy of the German forest dwellers experienced his first Bachata festival.
